Description:
Nova SP-99 is a 99% isopropyl alcohol which must pass stringent quality control testing to ensure purity for use as a fountain solution additive. As a fountain solution additive, SP-99 reduces surface tension and increases viscosity for better throughput in continuous dampening systems.
Directions:
As a fountain solution additive, SP-99 is recommended to be used at a dosage of 5-25%. Can be mixed 1:1 with tap water and added to aqueous coating under agitation. To clean polyester plates, dampen a clean rag with SP-99. Wipe plates lightly.
Product Need and Usage:
When used as directed in aqueous coatings, SP-99 reduces viscosity and surface tension for better delivery and lay. It can be used to remove dirt and oily substances from polyester plates. It is the press operator’s best friend for the really difficult printing jobs.
